PENSANDO DESPUÉS DE LOS SESENTA...

1➖Después de amar a mis padres, mis hermanos, mi cónyuge, mis hijos, mis amigos, ahora he comenzado a amarme a mí mismo.

2 ➖ Me acabo de dar cuenta que no soy "Atlas". El mundo no descansa sobre mis hombros.

3➖Ahora dejé de negociar con vendedores de frutas y verduras. Después de todo,  unos pocos pesos no van a hacer un agujero en mi bolsillo, pero podrían ayudar al pobre hombre a ahorrar para las cuotas escolares de su hija.

4➖Pago al taxista sin esperar el cambio. El dinero extra podría traer una sonrisa a su rostro. Después de todo él está trabajando mucho más duro que yo.

5➖Dejé de decirles a los ancianos que ya han narrado esa historia muchas veces. Después de todo esa historia los hace caminar por el camino de su memoria y revivir el pasado.

6➖He aprendido a no corregir a las personas, hasta cuando sé que están equivocadas. Después de todo, la responsabilidad de que todos sean perfectos no está en mis manos. La paz es más preciosa que la perfección.

7➖ Doy elogios libre y generosamente. Después de todo, mejora el estado de ánimo no sólo para el receptor, sino también para mi.

8➖He aprendido a no molestarme por una mancha en mi ropa. Después de todo la personalidad habla más que las apariencias.

9➖Me alejo de las personas que no me valoran. Después de todo puede que no sepan mi valía, pero yo sí.

10➖Estoy aprendiendo a no sentir vergüenza por mis emociones. Después de todo son mis emociones las que me hacen humano.

11➖He aprendido a que es mejor dejar caer el ego que romper una relación. Después de todo mi ego me mantendrá distante, mientras que con las relaciones nunca estaré solo.

12➖He aprendido a vivir cada día como si fuera el último. Después de todo, sí podría ser el último.

13➖Estoy haciendo lo que me hace feliz. Después de todo soy  responsable de mi felicidad y me la debo.

14➖He aprendido a valorar a mis amigos, porque cada día los estoy perdiendo, no porque me enemiste con ellos, sino porque se me adelantaron a la vida eterna.

15➖Valoro todo lo que tengo, más que lo que anhelo, porque lo que tengo es mío: Mi vida, mi familia y mis amigos.

Decidí enviar esto debido a que me pregunté: ¿Por qué tenemos qué esperar tanto tiempo? y ¿Por qué no podemos practicar esto en cualquier etapa? No hay que estar viejo para buscar la felicidad...

THINKING AFTER THE SIXTY

1➖After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children, my friends, I have now begun to love myself.

 3➖Now I stopped negotiating with fruit and vegetable sellers. After all, a few pesos won't burn a hole in my pocket, but it might help the poor man save for his daughter's school fees.

 4➖Pay to the taxi driver without waiting for the change. The extra money could bring a smile to his face. After all he is working much harder than me.

 5➖I stopped telling the elders who have already told that story many times. After all, that story makes them walk down the path of their memory and relive the past.

 6➖I have learned not to correct people, even when I know they are wrong. After all, the responsibility for everyone to be perfect is not in my hands. Peace is more precious than perfection.

 7➖ I give praise freely and generously. After all, it improves the mood not only for the recipient, but for me as well.

 8➖I have learned not to be bothered by a stain on my clothes. After all, personality speaks louder than appearances.

 9➖I stay away from people who don't value me. After all they may not know my worth, but I do.

 10➖I'm learning not to feel ashamed of my emotions. After all, it is my emotions that make me human.

 11➖I have learned that it is better to let go of the ego than to break up a relationship. After all my ego will keep me distant, while with relationships I will never be alone.

 12➖I have learned to live each day as if it were my last. After all, it could be the last.

 13➖I'm doing what makes me happy. After all, I am responsible for my happiness and I owe it to myself.

 14➖I have learned to value my friends, because every day I am losing them, not because I made enemies with them, but because they preceded me to eternal life.

 15➖I value everything I have, more than what I long for, because what I have is mine: My life, my family and my friends.

I decided to send this because I asked myself: Why do we have to wait so long? and why can't we practice this at any stage? You don't have to be old to seek happiness...
